1. This festival is governed by NFSA / AT (Sea angling branch) rules

2. Competitors must make their own arrangements for engaging boats and boatmen, and are responsible for launching and recovering their own boats.  No assistance is available or will be given by the Society.

3. All Competitors must supply their own bait.

4. No lines in the water before 9 am.  All fish to the scales by 3:30 PM

5. At the Committee’s discretion, an alternative venue can be nominated.  Launch venues are : Foreness, Broadstairs Harbour, Ramsgate Harbour, Ramsgate, Western Undercliff, Margate Harbour.

6. All fees and subscriptions due from competitors must be paid to the Hon Secretary prior to going afloat, no competitor will be entered into the competition unless they have complied with this rule.

7. Competitors who did not collect their labels from the Societies H.Q. may do so before going afloat from the Society’s store not later than 8 am.  A representative from each boat or group of boats must report in person to Broadstairs  Harbour to declare/ register their intention to fish on each day.  A phone call is not deemed suitable for this.

8. All fish must be submitted in one rigid container per competitor, to be supplied by competitors - carrier bags or refuse sacks are not rigid containers.

9. Competitors will hand in their catch duly labelled to the collection point on the jetty upon arrival.

Please note:

No competitor unless on official duty will be allowed inside the weighing in enclosure.  Catches will not be returned until after the weigh in has been completed.
